The Challenge

Before implementing the AustranetGRC software, Puerto Austral faced significant challenges in managing its regulatory compliance. All related information and processes were handled manually in Excel spreadsheets, which was inefficient, error-prone, and made centralizing information difficult. The task was further complicated by the strict regulations imposed under the CAI and the SEP Code.

To address these challenges, the implementation of AustranetGRC was proposed—an all-in-one solution that enabled comprehensive regulatory compliance management.

A detailed presentation was given to Puerto Austral explaining the system’s features and benefits. With client approval, we held ongoing meetings to implement the service.

Adaptation to CAI and SEP Guidelines

Since AustranetGRC is based on the COSO model, the system was adapted to the specific guidelines of the CAI and SEP. We worked closely with the Puerto Austral team to adjust the valuation and risk modules in accordance with these entities’ requirements. As part of this process, the 17 chapters of the SEP Code were uploaded into the system.
